Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Could Come in 4 Colors, Dropping a Fan-Favorite Shade

Summary: The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra could come in four colors: Black, Blue, Light Pink and White, according to industry insider Ice Universe. The Light Pink option is new and may replace the Deep Purple from the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Samsung may be dropping one of its more recognizable Galaxy S26 Ultra colors for the upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra, as the device is rumored to sport four color options next year. However, it will be ditching the Deep Purple shade which is the hero color of the S26 series.

Galaxy S27 Ultra Could Drop Purple in Favor of Light Pink

According to recent X post by trusted leaker, Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the Samsung’s next-generation premium flagship phone will come dressed in 4 color options. Black, Blue, Light Pink and White. The notable change here is the addition of Light Pink, which could take the spot of the Deep Purple shade that Samsung introduced with the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Pink is not entirely new to the Ultra line. The Galaxy S26 Ultra already has a Pink Gold option. But with the Galaxy S27 Ultra, it seems Samsung is going all in on pink and leaving purple behind. However, it is unclear what it would look like.

The same goes for the rumored Blue color, and whether or not it will be the same as the Sky Blue tone used on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Since the iPhone 18 Pro introduced a light blue variant of its own called Glacier, Samsung could try to mimic the same. The same goes for Black and White, which could end up being different finishes compared to what Samsung currently offers.

Ice Universe describes these as “base” colors, which suggests Samsung may have additional options in the pipeline. Samsung typically offers a few exclusive shades on its online store, and the Galaxy S27 Ultra will likely follow the same pattern.

On the hardware side, earlier leaks have pointed to a new 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HP6 main sensor. Along with improvements to the 5x telephoto, a significantly bigger battery without an increase in thickness. It will also feature a raised camera island similar to what Apple introduced with the iPhone 17 Pro.
