Apple claims up to 30% faster graphics, up to 25% faster AI workloads, and up to 1.9x faster Neural Engine performance over the M5 MacBook Pro. Every GPU core also gets Neural Accelerators and a third-generation ray-tracing engine.
The laptop ships with 16 GB of unified memory as standard, configurable up to 32 GB, with memory bandwidth reaching 170 GB/s. Storage starts at 1 TB, double the base storage on the previous 14-inch MacBook Pro model, and goes up to 4 TB.
The 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display supports HDR with up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. An optional nano-texture finish is available to cut down on reflections.
For camera duties, there’s a 12 MP Center Stage camera with Desk View support, paired with a six-speaker system, Spatial Audio, and a three-microphone array.
