Summary: OnePlus has confirmed the display specifications for the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro ahead of their China launch on October 29. Both phones get a 4th-generation 165 Hz ‘Oriental Screen’ panel, the same one used on the OnePlus 16, with support for up to 185 Hz in games.
OnePlus shared a teaser confirming the display technology going into the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro, just days before the phones launch in China on October 29, 2026. Both models will feature the same 4th-generation panel seen on the flagship OnePlus 16, allowing for faster refresh rates and better efficiency.
What’s New in OnePlus Ace 7 and 7 Pro Display
Both OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro will feature a 165 Hz panel that OnePlus calls the “Oriental Screen,” co-developed with BOE. The same as the one on the recently launched OnePlus 16. It lets the OS run at 165 Hz across all menus, apps, and even in scrolling, while supported games can push it up to 185 Hz.

OnePlus says a custom X4 luminescent material improves clarity and transparency, and a new LTPO circuit adjusts the refresh rate on the fly to save battery. A dedicated Super Display Chip P4 handles processing for high frame-rate content.
The OnePlus Ace 7 Pro also gets a built-in active cooling fan, which OnePlus claims can lower temperatures by up to 10 degrees Celsius during long gaming sessions. The air intake sits where fingers are less likely to block it, and hot air vents out through the top. Power comes from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
What’s Still Unconfirmed
OnePlus has not confirmed display size, resolution, or peak brightness yet. Earlier leaks point to a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel, a 200 MP main camera, a 9,000 mAh battery, and 120W fast charging on the Ace 7 Pro, though none of that is official so far. Both phones are set to launch in China on October 29, 2026.
