Summary: The Google Pixel 12 series has shown up in the GSMA IMEI database, revealing model numbers and display resolutions for all four expected models. The standard Pixel 12, Pro and Pro XL appear to be getting slightly wider displays, while the Pro Fold’s inner screen gets around 24% more pixels than the 11 Pro Fold.
Google has barely had time to settle the Pixel 11 series on store shelves. But now the first leaked specifications about the Pixel 12 lineup are already here, giving us an early hint of what to expect from Google’s 2027 Pixel lineup.
Pixel 12 Pro Fold Gets a Bigger Inner Display, Regular Models Go Wider
The leak, spotted by OVRPlus via the GSMA IMEI database, lists four devices. These are: the Pixel 12 (GC0QU), Pixel 12 Pro (GWU59), Pixel 12 Pro XL (G7U1Y) and Pixel 12 Pro Fold (G4D5D). The lineup is the same as the Pixel 11 series, with no new model added or removed.

However, the display resolutions tell the more interesting story. The standard Pixel 12 is listed at 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, the Pixel 12 Pro at 1,280 x 2,824 pixels and the Pixel 12 Pro XL at 1,344 x 2,952 pixels.
All three have slightly fewer vertical pixels compared to their Pixel 11 counterparts. Since the horizontal resolution stays the same, this points to a wider aspect ratio. This means the phones could feel a little less tall and narrow in the hand.
The Pixel 12 Pro Fold sees the biggest change. Its inner display is listed at 2,296 x 2,404 pixels, which is roughly 24% more pixels than the Pixel 11 Pro Fold’s 2,076 x 2,152. The outer display resolution has not been reported yet. A bigger inner screen would be a welcome upgrade, since foldable buyers tend to prefer sharper foldable screens.
It is worth noting that this is a very early leak. GSMA IMEI listings confirm that devices are being tested, but display resolutions can still change before the final launch. The Pixel 12 lineup is expected to debut around August 2027, based on past release cycles.
