Shortly after the announcement of Qualcomm’s next generation Snapdragon chipsets, Motorola took the stage to announce the Signature 27. The phone officially became the first device to debut with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. This marks a big step up from the first Motorola Signature, which ran on the lower-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.

The standout feature of the Motorola Signature 27 is the unique design, and the processor residing inside it. It comes with a unique camera spread on the back, which reminds us of the Nothing Phone (3). The phone also features the all new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, that was announced just moments before it.
Another standout feature is the camera setup itself. The Motorola Signature 27 has a quad camera system, featuring a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 910 main sensor and a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera with 100x Super Zoom and Dolby Vision video recording. There is also an ultrawide and a macro lens.
Motorola has also partnered with Bang & Olufsen for the speakers, helping tune the stereo setup. To keep the phone cool under heavy workloads, Motorola is using a new cooling system called ArcticMesh, which combines a diamond-infused thermal gel with a redesigned 3D vapor chamber. The company claims it delivers around 40% better thermal performance over the previous generation.
The phone has a 6.8-inch OLED display, up to 16 GB of RAM, up to 1 TB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging. It runs Android 17 and comes with 7 years of OS updates. Motorola is also including Google’s Gemini AI tools, along with the Omni video generator and Lyria music generator.
Motorola Signature Colors and Availability
The Signature 27 comes in two finishes, Coal Smoke with a tactical weave texture and Capulet Green with a brushed textile-inspired back. Motorola has not announced pricing yet, but the first Signature sold for around $800 to $1,200. The company says it will launch global in 2026, with its product page pointing to a November release. North America is confirmed, but there is no word yet on India.
